Maybe he will be cellmates with the other Bernie? They can take turns dropping the soap.

From the discription in this article, I would say Miss Christie kicked ass. Not sure if she would be called a winner? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/celebritynews/6506131/Beauty-queens-in-Tornado-nightclub-fight.html

The majority does not rule?

These guy have to be wacky. Strip naked and shower in a car wash to impress their female companions?

It is hard to tell the difference, sometimes.

I bet they received a big shock out of that.

I agree 100 %, although it doesn't necessarily screw up all kids. Tiger Woods seems like a well adjusted adult. Although for the one success I bet there are many failures.

A sale would be nice but highly unlikely. The airlines don't need sales to fill the planes around this time of year. Compare it to the Christmas-New Year or Thanksgiving travel period in the US. Airlines do not discount around peak holiday travel periods.

The other side of sticky rice would be sticky potato, farangs that only like farangs.

Almost Half of Thai Men Smoke?
Wino replied to WannaGo's topic in Living, Playing, and Reminiscing about Thailand
It seems to me a lot of Thai males smoke. Not sure if it is 50% but it is many. Tattoos, smoking and drinking seems to be the manly thing to do. -
Same, same worldwide.

Clinton Wants Myanmar to Begin Planning 2010 Elections
Wino replied to WannaGo's topic in Thailand News
I hope Myanmar can have fair elections. I think the generals are positioning themselves to hold power. When I in Burma last year, I saw tables and people outside the place I was staying. I asked what was going on. I was told they were registering voters. According to the person I spoke with, it was a difficult process to complete for the average common person. I imagine it was probably something like the voting requirements for blacks in the Deep South, years ago. -
Thai is a very difficult language to learn, at least for me. I have heard that Spanish is the easiest language for English speakers to learn, but not sure that is true. I took both French and Spanish in school and found Spanish easier for me.

I have no idea why these four guys would want to shower in a car wash. Maybe they were drunk? Maybe it was to win a bet? Any other ideas? BRISBANE, Australia – It was just a routine car wash. Except there was no car — and no clothing. Four Australian men who allegedly undressed and soaped up at a car wash have been charged with exposure and public nuisance. Police said the men paid for a wash before stripping nude and cleaning themselves in the soapy water while their female companions took photos. Police arrived mid-cycle after being called Sunday by Smart Wash operators in the town of Biloela in Queensland state. The four men are due to appear in court next month. Police and the car wash operator warned the public against mimicking the men, with police saying Tuesday the high-pressure washer could be dangerous, especially if it goes in the eyes. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20091112/ap_on_fe_st/us_odd_australia_car_wash;_ylt=Av6fircAJVlrE6J0xYf6EnPtiBIF;_ylu=X3oDMTJxOHBhZ2M3BGFzc2V0A2FwLzIwMDkxMTEyL3VzX29kZF9hdXN0cmFsaWFfY2FyX3dhc2gEY3BvcwMyBHBvcwM0BHNlYwN5bl90b3Bfc3RvcnkEc2xrA2F1c3RyYWxpYW5tZQ--

Here is another article about a guy that is probably “off his rocker.†LIMA, Peru – "They call me the hardware store," says Requelme Abanto from his hospital bed in northern Peru. Doctors in the city of Cajamarca said they removed 1.5 pounds of metal from Abanto's stomach, including nails, coins, and rusted copper wire and scrap metal. Cajamarca hospital surgeon Carlos Delgado told The Associated Press on Wednesday that he's never seen anything like what he found in last week's operation. "We went in thinking it could be appendicitis, but weren't we surprised by what we found — a hole in his stomach," Delgado said. Delgado said specialists are examining Abanto's mental health as he recovers. The 26-year-old construction worker ate the metal for months, and told Peru's Channel 9 television that he may now do it in public "as sport." "I swallowed 17 nails in February and didn't die," he said. "Five-inch nails, all in one day." http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20091111/ap_on_fe_st/lt_odd_peru_nail_swallower

And I guess the same goes for God? God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost is all baloney, because it can not be scientifically verified. Maybe it can't be proven but millions believe.

I agree any beachwear would be unacceptable in a classroom. I even think it is silly to go shirtless and shorts in a shopping mall. What I don't understand is the reaction to a mini shirt in a college campus situation.

As Bob wrote, “generally… it's the entrenched people who are rich and powerful that are considered the elite (and would most oppose any societal change where they didn't keep their largest slice of the pie).†Here is a link from wikipedia on elitism. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elitism

What a bunch of nonsense. This 20 year old Brazilian woman is expelled from university because she wore a pink mini dress to class. Now she has been reinstated. In a country known for the string bikinis on the beach and the scantily clad carnival costumes, this issue seems crazy to me. I wasn't sure if it started in the spring or fall. You think it would help lessen energy consumption if it were applied in Thailand?
-
I understand that, but unfortunately this sale will not help you for travel around Songkran. Air Asia's regular fares are still quite reasonable. Or perhaps take a road trip within Thailand and away from the 6 day Pattaya celebration.

Taylor Swift won song of the year award for her song “Love Story†at the BMI Country Award ceremony in Nashville the other night. She sure looked beautiful. http://www.billboard...004041642.story
