It's because the whole Swine Flu thing is a joke. If you tracked any other flu you'd have the same results. People in urban areas who can afford to drink juice and chill out will do better than people in huts - but the main message people should be getting is that this is much more mild than the normal flu so if you are not a weird village person it has almost no risk to you.
But there have been many, many reports that the side effects of Tamiflu make you feel worse than actually having the Swine Flu.
I don't get why people care about this. It's like a bunch of news stories about the common cold.
But we have socialized police and firemen and nobody objects to that!
Imagine if we were really anti socialist and everyone had to hire their own personal bodyguards to enforce the law!
If I start a topic I shouldn't have to click "watch topic" and then go through those three screens. I started the topic, so obviously I want to watch it. It should be automatic. And the same thing when I reply to a topic - it should automatically notify me when there is a response. I shouldn't have to go through the "watch topic" thing.
The notifications system is really awkward. If I start a topic I should automatically be notified of responses - I shouldn't have to hit "watch this topic" because it adds extra steps you don't need. Obviously if someone starts a topic they want to be told of responses.
Also, there should be an option where you are automatically watching any topic you respond to.
Given that Mininova.org is faster and more reliable than iTunes (and free) I don't understand the popularity of iTunes - unless people like giving Steve Jobs money!
I really think t his is all paranoia designed to get ratings for news programs/newspapers and for the drug companies to sell vaccines that people don't really need.
I just don't understand how people stuggling financially (which is the entire middle class in America) could possibly not want free health care?
Jesus, when you are broke take whatever people are willing to offer you!
Hey, when I was hanging out in Brazil I started eating a lot of Acai berries because they taste great and are supposedly way healthy. I want to find some around here.
Does anybody know if it's possible to buy Acai berries anywhere around Bangkok?
Thanks!
The thing is, why get so pissed off if some illegal immigrants get health care?
If people get sick they should get treatment, if for no other reason than if they don't get treatment they can infect the rest of the population.
