Several television stations in Texas say several people were both killed and wounded in the shooting. Officials at the base and in the nearby town of Killeen, Texas, have not confirmed those accounts. Fort Hood is located halfway between Austin and Waco.

Africa is a continent that really needs to get its act together.

When I was a kid Halloween was about trick or treating. And some kids would be up to mischief such as throwing eggs. These days it has become much more popular with young adults as women enjoy dressing up as French maids or naughty schoolgirls.

First off, cheapest certainly doesn't mean best but the least expensive beer bars in Pattaya tend to be in New Plaza which is behind a big coffee shop on 2nd Road opposite Soi 8. These bars tend to have 35 baht Beer Changs. Of these bars the most popular seems to Mickey's for some of the following reasons: 1) They have 35 baht Tiger as well as 35 baht Beer Chang 2) Pool table is free 3) They have a restroom accross the little soi. At some of the other bars in this complex you have to use the 5 baht public bog. 4) Four TVs so you can see a variety of sports. Of course there are cheaper places for a beer such as sidewalk stores with a couple tables out front but 35 baht/beer is the cheapest I've seen for a proper beer bar.

It was neither an extension or renewal for me. I had one previously but they would not let me extend more than 90 days in advance and I didn't know if I'd be back in Thailand on the expiration date. So rather than get a reentry permit that might not be valid I just let it expire. I think the immigration officers "sometimes" have leeway so while they could have perhaps said that the letter was too old, or half the money was only there for 60 days, they issued the visa. I shaved that day (usually I shave every 3 or 4 days and did not wear my Good Boys Go To Heaven Bad Boys Go To Pattaya T-Shirt.
